Apache Jmeter 是一個用來做壓力測試的 java 工具，你將可以在裡面模擬當有大量使用者湧入伺服器時的情況，故壓力測試，是在測試整個網頁或系統的承受度。

例如說近期阿妹的演唱會將在售票系統上進行售票，預計會湧入大量粉絲進行搶票，為了避免一次大量性使用者用入造成系統超出負荷之情形，我們可先進行壓力測試，了解系統本身的負荷量，再針對此問題採取相對應解決方案。
